Services

2RW’s services for this term contract project included:

  • Assessment of the current HVAC system
  • Mechanical and electrical system design for conversion of the existing variable air volume (VAV) system to a 4-pipe, single-zone VAV system that moves only as much as as is needed, greatly reducing fan energy
  • Coordination of MEP design and construction to facilitate and accelerate other construction projects occurring simultaneously (for example, 2RW coordinated with other UVA project managers so conduit for other infrastructure upgrades could be installed when the walls were open for our projects)
