Services

The project included a renovation of administrative offices, classrooms, media center, kitchen and cafeteria and the addition of 14 classrooms and a new gymnasium, entrance lobby, and support spaces.

2RW performed energy modeling to enable data-driven comparisons of HVAC alternatives. The data facilitated design decisions that minimized heating and cooling loads and reduced HVAC system requirements. Sustainable MEP/FP design features included:

  • HVAC systems equipped with energy recovery
  • Efficient building automation control systems
  • LED lighting
Results

New systems enhance the educational experience, promote student and staff health and well-being, and reduce energy usage and operating costs.
